Following on from my best selling book One Tin Bakes I wanted to write a book that absolutely anyone could bake from. With the resurgence in baking during the last couple years I noticed more and more people were baking that had previously never even set foot in a kitchen, and I wanted this book to be the helping hand in the kitchen. The recipes in this book take the fear out baking and give you straightforward recipes which never once compromise on flavour or interest, after all simple shouldn’t mean boring. Don’t let the title fool you though, just because the recipes are simple doesn’t mean that only beginners will appreciate this book, I have loved writing and baking these recipes because the simplicity meant when I wanted something quicker and easier I now had a whole host of absolutely delicious treats to choose from.
