The Yaxell Super Gou Ypsilon was created as an upgrade model of the Super Gou 161. From the SG2 Micro-Carbide powder stainless steel core to the 193 layer-blade and its elegant black micarta handle with the inlaid samurai family crest, every element featured in this range makes it one of Yaxell’s top ranges. The blade hardness is 63 Rockwell. Exceptionally beautiful and perfectly crafted, Yaxell Super Gou Ypsilon delivers supreme performance and is a pleasure to use. During production, Yaxell knives go through a very stringent process in which the blade is heated in a kiln at extreme temperatures, then ice hardened before it’s placed in high heat a second time to ensure the blade is durable, strong, and guaranteed to offer top long-lasting performance. This type of special production process also makes the knife’s blade corrosion-resistant.
