Scandinavian Midsommer Baking Masterclass
Join Trine to celebrate the magic of Midsummer and immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Scandinavian baking. Midsummer is one of the most important celebrations in Scandinavia, filled with long sunny days, joyful gatherings, and of course, delicious baked goods. It’s all about embracing the “hygge,” coming together with loved ones, and enjoying fresh, seasonal flavours.
You will bake:
- Cardamom buns, a fragrant and soft pastry perfect for Midsummer feasts.
- Rye crispbread, a Scandinavian staple to enjoy with summer cheeses and seafood.
Plus, Trine will demo her signature Midsommer berry-layer cake (lagkage), showcasing the best of seasonal Nordic ingredients.
All in the spirit of summer. You will learn essential baking techniques and tips, sprinkled with Scandinavian folklore and Midsummer traditions.
