This is a beautifully made Damascus steel paring knife with gently a curved blade. A blade of this shape is called a center point because the point of the knife is in line with the horizontal centre of the blade. The resulting upturned point and curved cutting edge make it suitable for cutting, trimming and paring either against a cutting board or when holding your work. The attractive birch handle is both light and comfortable to hold; its D shaped profile is contoured to fit into the right hand. The striking damask steel patterning is easily seen on the face of each blade. The knives are finished off with a Masur birch handle which has been crafted to reveal the natural beauty of the wood.
