This shape of this knife is specifically intended for chopping, slicing and shredding vegetables. The flat cutting edge makes slicing easy. Drawing the knife backward through the food and allowing the flat blade to ‘kiss’ the board will ensure crisp clean slices of any kind of vegetable. The deep blade helps to guide your free hand so that you can chop like a pro. The square tip of the knife is slightly rounded for fine slicing. The lightweight laminated Pakkawood handle is contoured to fit into the right hand while the counterweight at the heel of the knife provides poise and balance.
