K Sabatier is one of the best knife brands available, and this versatile cook’s knife is no exception. The wide rigid blade is ideal for cutting through thick slices of meat, cutting vegetables and fruit as well as chopping herbs. The tang (end of the blade) and blade are forged in one piece, then painstakingly ground to the perfect shape and finish. A special stain-resistant knife steel, Z50C13, Rockwell 54-56 HRC, is used which makes a razor sharp edge and the composition handles are securely riveted to the tang.Made in Thiers France
